My glass wouldn't have been half full,

I wouldn't have known passion and compassion,

I wouldn't wake up siling,

Wouldn't on hopes I would've been sailing,

Wouldn't have much to dream about,

If it were not for you.

I wouldn't be up writing this piece when all are fast asleep,

Wouldn't have felt pain of being bereft of you,

Wouldn't have known what love is,

If it were not for you.
